of Interest to the GU Community Sept.26-30"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>September 26<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A GU student\u00a0 reported the theft of his bike from the law school bike rack.\u00a0 The bike was secured with a cable lock.<\/p>\n<p>10:30\u00a0 AM<\/p>\n<p>A GU student reported the theft of his bike from Martin Center.\u00a0 It is unknown if it was secured or not.<\/p>\n<p>3:20\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>A GU student\u00a0 reported the theft of her bike from the front a GU residence hall.\u00a0 The bike had been secured with a cable lock.<\/p>\n<p>3:30\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>A GU student reported the theft of his bike from the law school bike rack.\u00a0 The bike was secured with a cable lock.<\/p>\n<p>7:20\u00a0 Pm<\/p>\n<p>GU Security responded to a GU residence hall in reference to graffiti.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>10:10\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>The Spokane Police Department\u00a0 warned the occupants of\u00a0 a GU owned residence in the area of the 300 block of E Augusta.\u00a0 They were playing Guitar Hero too loud with the door open.<\/p>\n<p>10:20\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>The Spokane Police Department\u00a0 contacted about 15 GU students\u00a0in the area of \u00a01600 N Standard and warned them for open container.<\/p>\n<p>10:40\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>The Spokane Police Department\u00a0 contacted a GU student 6 of her friends in the 900 block of E Sinto and warned them for having a loud party.<\/p>\n<p>11:05\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>The Spokane Police Department\u00a0 warned a GU student fora traffic violation at Mission and Hamilton.<\/p>\n<p>11:10\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>The Spokane Police Department\u00a0 cited a GU studentfor MIP and warned several others for loud party in the 1000 block of E Sinto.<\/p>\n<p>11:10\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>GU Security responded to a residence hall in reference to a bicycle theft that had just happened.\u00a0 GU students witnessed the bike being stolen and gave a great description to GU security.\u00a0 The subjects were contacted by GU Security and the Spokane Police Department.\u00a0 The subjects admitted to taking the\u00a0 bike.<\/p>\n<p>11:30\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>A GU student was cited for open container by the Spokane Police Department\u00a0 at Desmet and Van Gorp.<\/p>\n<p><strong>September 27<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>12:18\u00a0 AM<\/p>\n<p>The Spokane Police Department\u00a0 warned Ga U student for open container at Addison and Mission.<\/p>\n<p>01:10\u00a0 AM<\/p>\n<p>The Spokane Police Department\u00a0 contacted a suspicious person, non-GU student in the area of 518 E Mission.\u00a0 Officers followed the subject to his residence.<\/p>\n<p>02:10\u00a0 AM<\/p>\n<p>The Spokane Police Department\u00a0 contacted GU students at Desmet and Cincinnati. \u00a0GU dispatch advised there was a call of a suspicious person there.\u00a0 The three were warned for intoxication.<\/p>\n<p>9:15\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>GU Security responded to a GU residence hall in reference to graffiti on the wall.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>September 28<sup>th<\/sup> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>02:30\u00a0 AM<\/p>\n<p>A GU custodian\u00a0 found a set of keys inside the Magnuson Theatre on the floor near the west side entrance.\u00a0 The keys were placed into property in the Security office.<\/p>\n<p>09:30 \u00a0AM<\/p>\n<p>A GU student reported that between 6:30 and 7:45 PM the night before, his bike was stolen from the bike rack between Crosby and Desmet.\u00a0 The bike was not secured.<\/p>\n<p>12:20 PM<\/p>\n<p>GU Security contacted non-student at the Law School.\u00a0\u00a0The subject\u00a0was bothering\u00a0 students and staff and causing a disturbance.\u00a0 Security gave\u00a0her a trespass warning and after some argument \u00a0from her, she left the premises.<\/p>\n<p>5:00 PM<\/p>\n<p>a GU student burned his dinner at\u00a0a GU owned residence\u00a0causing the fire alarm to go off.\u00a0 GU Security and Spokane Fire responded.<\/p>\n<p>9:05\u00a0 PM<\/p>\n<p>GU security responded to\u00a0the area of \u00a0North \u00a0Superior in the 1300 block \u00a0in reference to a prowler.\u00a0 A GU student\u00a0 reported that an unknown person was knocking at her front door but when she checked to see who it was, they were gone.\u00a0\u00a0She then heard someone knocking on her side door and heard the front screen door open and close several times.\u00a0\u00a0She was never able to see who the person was so was unable to give a description to security.\u00a0 The Spokane Police Department also arrived and searched the area for suspicious people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>September 29<sup>th<\/sup> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>11:45 PM<\/p>\n<p>GU Security responded to\u00a0a GU residence hall \u00a0in reference to a bike theft in progress from the bike rack.\u00a0 A GU Student saw two older male subjects pull a bike off of the bike rack and rode away quickly when\u00a0her headlights illuminated them.\u00a0 The two males left north of the building and then turned east toward Hamilton.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0The subjects were described as being in their 30\u2019s or 40\u2019s, white males one being tall and scruffy.\u00a0 GU Security checked the area but was unable to locate the subjects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>September 30<sup>th<\/sup> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>02:00\u00a0 AM<\/p>\n<p>GU Security, Spokane Fire Department and AMR responded to a GU residence hall in reference to a medical call.\u00a0 The student was not transported and was able to go back to bed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>September 26 A GU
