One suspect was described as male, white or Hispanic. The other two suspects were described as male, African-American, all were wearing hoodies. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&amp;quot\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&amp;quot\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><!--more-->Shortly after that situation was reported, a student reported that she and companions were walking in the area of Standard and Baldwin and were robbed in a way that resembled the earlier report.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>No one was injured in the second incident and the suspects fled the area. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&amp;quot\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&amp;quot\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">The safest course of action during a robbery is to not resist or attempt to retain valuables.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>There is a greater risk of harm by potentially escalating the situation. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&amp;quot\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&amp;quot\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">The University will continue to contract with Spokane Police department for additional coverage of the campus and neighborhood, including this Saturday and Sunday night.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>If you feel threatened or are the victim of a crime, get to a safe place as quickly as possible and call 911 immediately for police response.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The Spokane Police are the primary agency for emergency response in the neighborhood.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Always call 911 first.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Call 911 to report suspicious, threatening, or criminal behavior. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&amp;quot\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&amp;quot\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">Students should exercise caution when walking, particularly at night.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>It is advisable to avoid walking alone and avoid areas that tend to be poorly lit and offer concealment.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Arranging for private transportation, such as a calling a friend, designated driver, SafeRide, or other taxi, is also advisable.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Gonzaga Campus Public Safety &amp;
