Three students reported being pepper-sprayed and punched at about 1:00 AM near\u00a0Sinto and Columbus. The students reported they were walking through the neighborhood\u00a0when they were assaulted by three or four females and two males who pulled up in a white sedan, got out and asked, “Where are the parties at?”.\u00a0When the students answered that they didn’t know, they were pepper-sprayed and punched. The assailants then fled. \u00a0The students reported they had called 911 and returned to their residence on East Augusta. According to the students, they had all been checked out by\u00a0Spokane Fire Department EMTs prior to calling Gonzaga Security and were not seriously injured. Spokane Police responded and completed a report.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0If you have to walk, do so in groups especially after dark. Try to use well-lit, busy routes. Be aware of your surroundings.
