Following a record-setting month of snow, Gonzaga Grounds crews have made an outstanding effort to clear parking spaces for the return of classes next Tuesday. However, there will be significantly fewer parking spaces than normally available until all the snow melts. Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Carpool with others or have someone drop you off if you can. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Utilize public transit. For those who live off campus, there are <\/span>several different buses<\/span><\/a> that serve the GU campus. Only a dollar a ride and no traffic to hassle with!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Follow <\/span>parking guidelines<\/span><\/a>. You still need to follow the rules, and we will still be writing tickets.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Park smart. If you\u2019re not sure it\u2019s a parking space, don\u2019t park there. If your car blocks others in, \u00a0we will have it moved to the South Trent lot and you will be responsible for the expense of moving it. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Walk safe. Watch for icy spots and report especially hazardous areas to Security at 313-2222.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
