Do Business and Alcohol Mix?

It’s the age old question: Can you mix business with pleasure?  Or in other words, can you be responsible with alcohol at a business function when you are representing your company, yourself and yes…even your boss. If the idea of handling alcohol in a responsible and professional manner with etiquette and tack seems like a daunting task join us for this great event this Thursday!

Thursday, April 29th from 7:00-10:00pm in the Herak Club Room (downstairs McCarthy Center)

Enjoy fine wine and beer, delicious appetizers and the opportunity to mingle with business professionals and alumni while learning about the etiquette of alcohol in business settings.

Must be age 21 or older to attend, I.D.’s will be checked at the door

The countdown to graduation weekend is well underway.  Within a handful of weeks, your time as an undergrad at Gonzaga will be complete.  However your time as a Zag, is just getting started!   As an alum of Gonzaga, you will always have a place here within the Gonzaga community.

And to welcome the Class of 2010 into the alumni family properly, consider joining us tonight for the annual senior social. This is a great way to see fellow classmates while learning all about the chapters in 26 cities across the country!  This event allows us to welcome you into the family of Gonzaga alumni and wish you well as you graduate.

Not Your Usual A.S.K.

Last night’s event for the Spring Alumni Sharing Knowledge (A.S.K.) was a packed room of students learning best tips and tricks for working a room!  Students were joined were hosted by Margel Kaufman who lead the students in various ways to think about networking.  She urged the students to practice networking as if they were learning to ride a bike.

All in all, a great event!  Thanks for all who attended…..

Success is really all about relationship building and working a room helps you build relationships … positive connections that will help you gain confidence, knowledge and experience.

The more people you know and who know you, the better your chances are of succeeding in your future in everything you do.
