Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is the daily reporting of mark-to-market P&L and exposures for the West Region’s Spokane power trading desks. The Risk group performs these duties concurrently to ensure compliance to STGP’s trading Mandate and other trading policies. Additionally to the daily P&L and exposure reporting responsibilities, this role handles the monthly financial requirements for the Spokane office. Another focus of the role is support of the Financial team in Houston with ad hoc reports and other projects as needed. 

Requirements:

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a fulltime basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelors degree in Finance or other related business major
  • Understanding of Mark to Market management preferred
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong leadership and project skills
  • Experience with trading systems, preferably Nucleus and/or Endur a strong plus

HOT LEAD! Summer Internship in Spokane

This just in!

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Spokane contacted Gonzaga and notified us that they’re seeking an intern for summer hours.  There is a small stipend (approx $100/month to be paid at end of internship).   However, it would be a great opportunity to learn and work in a flexible office!  The intern will work with the marketing team doing market research, data updating, and creating some marketing pieces.  The time commitment would be 10-20 hrs/week until the start of school.
