Salary Level: $44,688 – $72,579
Works within the Information Technology department acting as the primary liaison between business units and IT to develop and deploy software solutions. Works closely with systems development, network administrators and helpdesk staff to ensure that support standards are being meet.
•Performs research, implementation, documentation, and maintenance tasks for assigned banking applications. May be the primary or backup support for specific applications.
•Works closely with Systems Development, Infrastructure Systems and Help Desk to ensure that appropriate support standards are adhered to.
•Performs application troubleshooting tasks. Works closely with business unit personnel on a regular basis to assist in defining application requirements and identify opportunities to improve application utilization.
•Responsible for planning, managing, facilitating, instructing and monitoring project activities for all assigned projects.
•Utilizes office automation tools to create efficient processes and procedures within the job function and with users as needs arise.
•Performs system administration and user-based configuration functions for assigned applications.
•Assists in supporting all reporting requirements for application systems.
•Develop test scripts and scenarios for performing application testing.
•Evaluate product upgrades for business and application impact, and creates the business benefits analysis/evaluation.
•Identify opportunities to improve application utilization.
•Documents support plans, support processes and procedure and various business requirements.
•Follows established change management procedures.
•Acts as the primary business unit liaison for assigned production application systems.
•Maintains overall knowledge of general banking practices and business unit functions.
•Assists with special projects or duties as assigned.
• Functional knowledge of the usage and functions of network operating systems, relational database technologies, application architectures (thin client computing, client server systems, web-based systems)
•Functional knowledge of or work experience within supported business unit(s) desired.
•Strong communication skills; ability to analyze, synthesize and articulate complex ideas into layman’s terms to multiple levels of the organization; technical writing skills as needed for documentation.
•Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with and work effectively with diverse groups of people.
•Proven ability to utilize office automation tools to create efficient processes and procedures within the job function and with users as needs arise.
•Ability to work additional hours as required by operational and production work loads.
