Hey Zags! Beginning on February 15th, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air will begin to post their internship positions for application.

These opportunities are summer internships that are paid positions and include travel privileges.

The length of the program is 12 weeks, at 40 hours per week. They will be listed on Alaska’s careers website located here:
http://www.alaskaair.com/content/about-us/careers.aspx

Below is a table with position titles available during the summer of 2013. When the application process is posted, they may be grouped into general categories, such as ‘Marketing’ or ‘Information Technology’. This will allow for applicants to be considered for multiple positions.

We encourage you to check the website above frequently as new positions are added in the coming weeks. They will be listed for a short period of time (between 1 and 2 weeks), so if you are interested, please make sure to submit your application in a timely manner. Again, please note, the positions will begin to post February 15th (they are not currently posted.)

To apply on alaskaair.com, you must first register.  To register, please do the following:

  • Go to either Alaska or Horizon career opportunities tab and click on the ‘CLICK HERE TO REGISTER’ link located.
  • You will then be asked to provide an email address; an email will be sent to this address containing a password.
  • Once you open the email, you MUST click on the link within the body of the email and use the password provided.
  • Applying for a position will take you roughly 25-30 minutes.
