Congratulations to doctoral candidate Dung Tran! Dung’s application to the 8th annual Asian Theological Summer Institute (ATSI) was recently accepted. Sponsored by the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia and supported by the Henry Luce Foundation, ATSI is an annual mentoring program for doctoral students of Asian heritage who are focused on theological education at the Ph.D. and Th.D. level. The institute functions as a doctoral seminar to test doctoral proposals and projects in the company of guest professors and scholars serving as mentors. Dung is especially excited to work with Fr. Peter Phan, S.T.D., Ph.D., D.D., Ignacio Ellacuria, S.J. Chair of Catholic Social Thought at Georgetown University.
