The Success of the First Ever 24-Hour Giving Challenge and a Celebration of #ZagDonorLove

Tuesday, April 8, 2014, was the date of Gonzaga’s first ever one-day fundraising drive: the GU +1 24-Hour Challenge. The goal was to inspire 500 donors in 24 hours, and the goal was exceeded with 527 donors making gifts that day alone. It was exciting to watch the tally rise throughout the day, but it was also thrilling to see the buzz on social media as one Zag after another shared the message of philanthropy and support.

Then, under bright blue skies on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, the annual Tomorrow Made Possible event celebrated the donors who help sustain the uniqueness of the Gonzaga experience. Current (and future) students signed the wall and postcards with messages of thanks, played games and enjoyed free pizza from David’s Pizza all while learning about the impact of giving. Photos flooded in showing #ZagDonorLove and gratitude for all the things that donor support provides.

Thank you for your support. We hope every donor feels the #ZagDonorLove every day.
