Media Recording/Editing Room
We built a media recording room in the Foley Library for Faculty and Staff to use for recording audio and video. Software allows you to record complete lectures, screen captures, training videos, PowerPoint narration and more.

Software Tools:
–Doceri – Interactive whiteboard for your iPad and allows you to control classroom computer. Plus gives you annotation and built-in whiteboard. Free app but $30 lifetime license to use on your computer and remove watermark.
–Camtasia Studio 8 – Costs around $200 for license. Full-Functioning free 30-day trial from Tech Smith. Complete recording and editing platform for the most control over your recordings.
–Adobe Captivate 7 – $299 Educational costs. Free Download from Adobe for 30-days. Another which allows complete recording and editing platform for the most control over your recordings.
–Ink2Go – Basic whiteboard on your ipad and recording application. Cost is $20 for the app.
–Audacity -Open Source (Free) audio recording and editing software
-Windows Movie Maker – Free with Windows 7 and 8. You can download it free from Microsoft here.
-iMovie – Free already installed on MAC OS computers.
