- Tuition Discounts– Are you working while taking MATL classes online? Gonzaga University provides a 35% tuition reduction to qualified MATL students working as full-time teachers, principals, and pastoral/Diocesan Ministers who are working in schools or parishes under the auspices of the Catholic Diocese of Spokane. - Financial Aid– Many graduate students are eligible for substantial Federal Stafford Loans every academic year. These loans are unsubsidized with low-interest rates. To qualify for federal financial aid students must be admitted as a matriculated student in a graduate or doctoral program, and fill out a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) ahead of time.

- Scholarships- If you’re entering the MATL program, scholarships are now being offered for new students beginning in the Summer 2016 session. Some of these scholarship possibilities include the Madeline St. Marie Scholarship, offered to students pursuing their master’s in theology and leadership degree, the Peter and Carol Welk Religious Studies Scholarship, the Conrad N. Hilton Scholarship, and the Mary Olson Fairhurst Scholarship.
