We’re off to Honduras!

Hi! Welcome to the Mission Possible blog!
For those of you unfamiliar with Mission Possible, it is a student-run organization at Gonzaga University School of Law that is focused on helping those who are less fortunate, abroad and at home. MP leads a trip every spring break to complete service projects in poverty-stricken communities. This year, MP will be returning to Honduras!
Update on the group: Today (Thursday, March 5) marks the end of an incredibly long week for the Mission Possible crew. For most of the members, this week included multiple midterms, as well as quite large legal research and writing assignments for the 2Ls and 1Ls. Now, we’re very much looking forward to our trek to Seattle this evening.
Because our flight leaves around noon Friday from Seattle, the group has made an executive decision to depart Spokane late tonight so that the chances of making tomorrow’s flight are greatly improved. Currently, the weather does not appear to be cooperating too much. The pass westbound to Seattle is temporarily closed.
Friday, we fly from Seattle to Atlanta. Then, after approximately 12 hours in the Atlanta airport (we’re conserving funds and opting out of getting hotel rooms), we take off to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, around 9:30 am on Saturday, March 7, which should put us in Honduras around 12 noon.
Once we have settled in Honduras and thanked our host family profusely for their endless hospitality, I will post the details of our traveling adventures.
