Information Technology Services (ITS) — What to Know

Gonzaga Information Technology Services (ITS) is dedicated to delivering high-quality technology to our faculty, staff and students.  There are many options in the realm of technology and ITS would like to take this opportunity to inform you how to best prepare for technology on campus. Below are a few topics to be aware of before arriving on campus next month:

TV Requirements: Certain televisions are not compatible with our cable services and not all streaming devices work over the wireless network. Please visit our website for more detailed information on suggested brands.

Printers: Personal wireless printers are very common but do not work over our wireless network.  ITS is partnering with the Gonzaga Student Body Association (GSBA) to make seven cloud-based print stations readily available in various buildings around campus for the coming academic year. The print stations use Bulldog Bucks, which we hope helps alleviate the need for personal printers.

Landline Phones: For the 2016-2017 Academic year there will not be landline phones in the residence hall rooms, although they will be in common areas. If you would like a phone installed in your dorm room, please submit a request by emailing techsupport@gonzaga.edu.

Microsoft Office: All active students can download a copy of Microsoft Office to use while you are a student at the university. The free copy can be download from the settings menu of Zagmail.
