Spark is a collaborative effort by First Year Experience Programs and the Student Involvement & Leadership Department that consists of a six-week program open to any student searching for their niche. The purpose of Spark is to provide you a safe space to explore your transition through the still-new university environment. The program provides strategies and resources necessary to identify how you can manage the academic, social and spiritual changes you will face at Gonzaga.
You have the chance to participate every week or just attend when you feel like it – it’s up to you! Topics will cover academics, normalizing behaviors, problem solving, getting involved and writing your story. Plus free dinners of pizza, Chipotle, Panda Express and other goodies!
The hope is that this workshop will create a spark necessary for you to ignite your Gonzaga spirit and student experience. Please stop by First Year Experience Programs in Crosby 101 or Student Involvement and Leadership in Hemmingson Center, Rm 304 with any question. Information on the program will also be posted via twitter at @ZagsInvolved and @ZagFirstYear.
