In addition to the Seattle and Portland Treks, the Gonzaga Alumni Mentor Program (GAMP) also hosts a Trek to Silicon Valley on March 11 and San Francisco on March 12, during the upcoming spring break.

These focused career development events are designed to help your son or daughter find a job and make important networking contacts with Gonzaga alumni and friends.

These events will allow students to meet representatives from some of the top organizations in the region and to develop contacts with alumni and friends of the University.  Among the events planned are excursions to local companies, and networking socials where students will meet alumni for the purpose of making valuable employment contacts.

We hope you will agree that these events offer a great opportunity for your son or daughter to advance their career and make some valuable connections.  Freshmen and sophomores can use the events as a way to learn more about the expectations of employers, while juniors and seniors can make contacts for future internships and full-time positions. Networking is all about creating relationships and it is critical that students start the process early and be persistent in talking to as many people as possible about their career goals.

Please review the online registration forms  and see if you agree that this a good investment of time and money for your son or daughter during the semester break.  If you have questions please contact the GAMP office at 509.313.4048 or via e-mail.
