  • Make sure the immunization form is in!  We need proof of 2 MMR’s (rubeola vaccine.)
  • The flu shot will be offered to students for only $5 during Orientation Weekend in Crosby Student Center on Saturday , August 27 and in the Health Center Monday – Friday. Call 509 313 4066 for more information.
  • The CDC (Center for Disease Control) has recommended a booster shot for the meningitis vaccine.  We carry the meningitis vaccine in the Health Center which we can give at our cost.
  • If your student needs a sports physical, we’ll be happy to do it for a small fee.
  • Make sure your student has a copy of the card or the information about their medical insurance.  If they are not covered, consider taking out the Student Medical Insurance Policy that the University offers.  If the student has the parent policy, make sure your student is covered “out of area.”
  • Your student automatically has an Accident Policy through the university.  This is a mandatory policy for accidents only.
  • The Health Center is open Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, open at 10 am on Tuesdays and closed for lunch 11:45 – 1 pm.  509 313 4066 / 509 313 4052.  We have a full time doctor and nurse practitioners in the Health Center.  Fees may be incurred.
  • For any student who medically needs it (i.e. diabetic), we have sharps containers that we give at no charge.  We encourage students to bring in their full ones to us for proper disposal.
  • We do not give allergy shots, but would be happy to make a referral into the community.
  • If a student needs transportation for a medical/dental reason, we can authorize a Health Ride for them at no charge, to be transported by taxi to and from campus.  This must be a reasonable distance from campus.
  • Your student will be asked for their Student ID card every time they use the Health Center.
