Our Blog

Another academic year is underway, and while you may not be experiencing the same sentiments as you did last year during this time of year, you may still feel some anxiety over saying goodbye again.   We recommend that you channel your parental energies into encouraging your student to continue to explore answers, resources, and opportunities, and to make the most of their remaining time at Gonzaga.  Students still searching for a major, trying to score the perfect internship, or seeking a stronger relationship with faculty can actively engage in key conversations with faculty and advisors now that they have returned to campus.  Encourage your students to remember their original goals, both personal and academic, for their college careers, and start the semester off with a burst of energy in making them reality.

If your student contacts you this semester with questions or concerns about their academic life, please refer them to our office.  We want our students to be academically successful; thus we have tailored and created a variety of programs to help them along their way to a Gonzaga degree.  Please visit our website for more information about our office, and contact information, atwww.gonzaga.edu/academicservices.For Sophomore and Junior Parents:
