Zag Dining and Sodexo are committed to stopping hunger. Every November, we launch our biggest campaign of the year to benefit 2nd Harvest Inland Northwest in hopes to help those in need on a local level.

Last year, with the help of our students, faculty, staff and employees we were able to raise about 11,000 pounds of food, which is about $11,000, for 2nd Harvest in just 10 days. This year, we are aiming to raise $15,000 worth in 10 days starting today. We will be accepting donations starting Monday November 7th until Thursday November 17th. On the morning of Friday the 18th, we will drop off a check and any cans collected to KREM 2′s Tom’s Turkey Drive and thank all of our donors for all their help on TV!

Starting Monday November 7th, we will be accepting donations at all of our locations on campus of either cash or non-perishable foods. Our student’s faculty, staff and employees can donate using Dining Dollars (up to $25), Block Meals (up to 10), Cash or Credit Cards. For everyone who donates in this week, you will be entered to win 2 tickets to the Men’s GU vs WSU basketball game on Monday the 14th. For anyone who donates next week, you will be entered to win 2 tickets to Men’s GU vs Western Michigan basketball game on Saturday November 26th.Every $1 you give puts six pounds of food on the table for families in need. $35 feeds a family of four for a week. $100 or more will help meet the needs of hundreds of children next month.
