Preparing for tonight’s big game against St. Mary’s,  we thought we would share this video of a great tradition that is alive and well on campus. A few days ago, students stood in line to grab their game tickets, and then, like last year’s game against St. Mary’s, put up tent city.

Gonzaga University’s Kennel Club is honored to have an amazing student body that cares so much about this University and the culture here. For example, to camp out for the game against St. Mary’s, students had to wait for a message on Twitter to inform them where to run in order to get a number in line.

We had students spread out on every corner of campus trying to anticipate the location. As soon as the message got out it was an awesome sight to behold.

To me, this is what it is to be a Zag. Not just because of basketball prowess or the fun in camping; but because when I walk the tents I see over 350 people who may be meeting for the first time but are all close friends due to our one shared bond. To get a glimpse of what it means to be a Zag For Life take a look at this video.
