Delta Airlines Announces NEW Spokane-Los Angeles Nonstop Service

(Spokane, WA) – Lawrence Krauter, Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Delta Air Lines will launch nonstop service to Los Angeles (LAX) effective June 10, 2013.  Delta currently provides year round nonstop service to Salt Lake City (SLC) and Minneapolis (MSP).

Krauter, stated, “On behalf of the Spokane Airport Board and 1.5 million customers that live in the three States and two Canadian Provinces we serve, I would like to thank Delta Air Lines for adding nonstop service to Los Angeles and Southern California.  Each year, over 200,000 people or over 300 passengers per day, each way from our regional market travel to and from Los Angeles.  We have concentrated our air service development efforts, including applying for and receiving the U.S. Department of Transportation’s “Small Community Air Service Development Grant” to assist in securing today’s announcement.”  The new daily service is available for booking now online at www.delta.com or by calling 1.800.221.1212.
