We have some important and exciting changes being implemented to the President’s and Dean’s lists in 2015:

  • In mid-January, the new University Honors webpage will host our President’s and Dean’s lists where visitors will be able to search for students’ names and sort the lists alphabetically, by cities, states, or zip codes.
  • Students and parents will also be able to print a personalized announcement to commemorate this honor.

The development of this webpage was prompted by increased costs of the existing service used to distribute student achievements to the media. Going forward, we will send an email to our broad media list and direct them to the new University Honors page to see if any students from their area are listed. Media outlets will be able to easily download a student list from their area.

We will continue to send a congratulatory email to all students as well as parents (if we have their email address in our database). As always, students or parents who have their contact information marked confidential will not receive an email and the student’s name will not appear on the public list.

Students and parents are encouraged to visit the new webpage when it is live in mid-January and print or email a personalized announcement to share with their hometown newspaper, ensuring that the publication is aware of this great accomplishment. While it is our hope that publications announce our students’ achievements, we cannot guarantee that they will do so.
