Important Move-In Information for Students Living in Kennedy
Students and Families of Students:
We are so excited to have you move in to Kennedy and live with us during the 2016-2017 academic year. Please read on for more details regarding the move-in process.
The attached map provides a visual of traffic pattern for move in day. Please be aware there will be staff, security, and volunteers to help you navigate your approach to the Kennedy garage. Upon arriving to the Kennedy garage, you will be directed to an unloading zone. At which point, volunteers will assist in unloading your belongings. Please clearly indicate your name and room number on your belongings (i.e. tape/stickers/labels/marker, etc.).
Unloading Your Vehicle. You will be directed to an unloading zone where you will check-in and receive your keys, please have your Gonzaga ID. Simultaneously our volunteers will begin the unloading process. Cars may then be parked in the west side of the Kennedy lot (west of the grass median) temporarily for two hours. Students will then proceed to their apartment where the volunteers will meet them with their belongings.
Temporary parking pass. The temporary parking pass will allow you to park in Kennedy for two hours while you are settling in the space. Staff and security will direct you to a parking lot on campus when your temporary pass expires.
Don’t desire assistance? You may park your vehicle for two hours in Kennedy (west of the grass median) using the temporary parking pass and move your own belongings to your apartment.
As a reminder here are the move in times:
- Friday, August 26th
- 9:00 am-11:00 am –2nd floor rooms 201-220
- 11:30 am-1:30 pm –2nd floor rooms 221-238
- 2:00 pm-4:00 pm–4th floor rooms 401-438
- Sunday, August 28th
- 9:00 am-11:00 am–3rd floor rooms 301- 320
- 11:30 am-1:30 pm—3rd floor rooms 301-338
- 2:00 pm-4:00 pm-5th floor rooms 501-538

Driving Instructions to Kennedy Apartments.
Take I-90 exit 281 north, continue north on Ruby. At DeSmet take a right (east) and continue east one block to Pearl. Turn left (north) on Pearl and continue north on Pearl one and a half blocks across Boone to the east entrance of Kennedy. You will encounter traffic flaggers at the intersection of DeSmet and Pearl, please follow their directions as there will be many people moving in. After you unload your vehicle, you will be directed where to park.
