Just as GuideCore holds the hands of first-year Zags as they cross over from high school grad to Gonzaga student, Z-Core is the group that aims to lead Gonzaga’s senior class across the bridge from GU student to alum.

Z-Core plans events, facilitates networking with alumni, and collaborates with groups across campus to make every Zag’s senior year and beyond a rewarding and memorable experience.  Additionally, Z-Core helps to promote fundraising for Z-Core’s philanthropic arm, the annual Senior Fund and class gift. This year, the Class of 2017 has set a goal to raise $2,500—enough to sponsor a Zag with an annual scholarship.

“We feel it is up to us to provide the same experience we enjoyed for future Zags,” said Katherine Ballew, Fundraising Chair of the Z-Core 2017 team. “We are enthusiastic about our year, but also passionate about making sure it carries forward. It’s our time to Zag Up, Zag Always so we can Zag for all!”

Z-Core will be working with the senior class to raise money for this scholarship gift. Their efforts will also include reaching out to friends and family members of GU seniors.
