Gonzaga Pilgrimage “Retreat on Your Feet” – September 16th

By: University Ministry

Is your student looking for a great way to kick off the school year?  For generations, Gonzaga has launched the fall semester with its annual Pilgrimage, a “Retreat on Your Feet.”  This longstanding tradition offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, participate in Gonzaga’s rich spiritual heritage, experience personal growth and meet likeminded friends.  Open to ALL students, alumni, staff, faculty and parents, this 11 mile hike in beautiful Northern Idaho traces the steps of the first Jesuits who came to the Inland Northwest.  Journeying to the historic Cataldo Mission, students will experience time to encounter God, connect with other Zags and focus on internal growth.

Put it on the calendar now, as this popular “Retreat on Your Feet” boasts a healthy number of pilgrims every year!  Online registration opens for students on June 15th. (All others can register on August 15th.) Head to www.gonzaga.edu/umin and click the “Sign Up for Retreats” button.  Any questions can be directed to Terry Randles atrandles@gonzaga.edu.
