It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year again, but flu shot season is upon us! Health & Counseling Services will be offering flu shots for $5 for all Gonzaga students.

Last year, we saw the flu arrive on campus in late October and stay with us all the way through the spring semester. Because we are expecting similar patterns again this year, we are encouraging students to wait until mid to late September before getting their flu shot.  This will help us better time their immunity boost in hopes of preventing the flu.

Flu shot clinics will be taking place in Hemmingson starting in late September and will occur several times over the fall semester (including during ZagFam Weekend).  Students can pay with cash, Bulldog Bucks or put the charge on their student account during the flu shot clinics. They are also welcome to walk in to Health & Counseling Services during our business hours, where they can pay with cash, credit, student account or Bulldog Bucks.

Flu shot clinic dates, times, and locations will be published in Morning Mail and posted on our Twitter @GUStudentHealth.
