Eight to ten undergraduate interns are selected each spring to assist through the next school year with the marketing and promotions of Gonzaga University’s 16 varsity sports. Interns are responsible for the creation and implementation of marketing plans, as well as game day operations of men’s & women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s & women’s basketball, and baseball. They are required to work a minimum of 4 hours per week in the office as well as nights and weekends as sport schedules necessitate. Interns are selected through an application and interview process. The undergraduate internship is a voluntary (unpaid) position; however, students may receive course credit.

Gonzaga Marketing & Promotions interns have moved on to successful careers in sports to organizations such as the University of Oklahoma, the Seattle Mariners, the Tacoma Rainiers, and the Phoenix Suns.
