JOB ALERT: Splunk is hiring!

Attention Gonzaga Techies!

Splunk is hiring!  And they’re interested in Gonzaga grads!  One of Gonzaga’s Regents has a relationship with the Director of Product Management (for Developer Platform & Windows) at Splunk in Seattle.  Below are a few Seattle jobs that our Regent sent us from his contact at Splunk.  All of these are more on the technical side.  Splunk is always looking for software engineers.

Support Engineer – Seattle: – Can be more junior level – even right out of undergrad computer science degree.

Software Engineer in Test (2 positions) – Seattle: – More experienced is better here – has to be pretty technical.

For more information about our Regent supporter/contact info, please contact the GU Career Center & GAMP office and speak with Kevin Pratt (Director of Career Services, Gonzaga) x4234 or CareerCenter& Seattle, San Francisco, Cupertino, London, Hong Kong, Washington D.C., Plano

JOB ALERT! Entry Level Position in Kirkland, WA

The HR Director at Conover Insurance contacted the GU Career Center & GAMP notifying us of an entry level admin/reception position in their Kirkland office. The position supports all the various divisions of Conover Insurance (commercial and personal insurance, employee benefits, marketing, finance, tax, etc.) so there is a lot of opportunity to learn all about the organization. Although this position is entry level, Conover often promotes employees to other departments when there is an opening and the individual expresses an interest in a particular department (i.e. financial services vs. employee benefits vs. tax vs. commercial insurance).

If you are interested in applying for this position, please contact the GU Career Center & GAMP office to request the HR Director’s name and contact info.
