Renee Geck, PhD

Renee has a background in genetics, cell, and molecular biology. She loves solving puzzles of the consequences of mutations and genetic variation, curating and communicating the connections between genotype and phenotype, and integrating research experiences into undergraduate classes.

Renee is an alum of the Dunham Lab (University of Washington), Toker Lab (Harvard / BIDMC), and Schmitt Lab (George Fox University). She is a member of the ClinGen G6PD VCEP and the BREWMOR steering committee.

Amy Howlett

Amy is a Biology major and History minor who is really excited about genetics! When not in lab, you can find her playing the violin, in a game of cribbage, walking outside, or reading a book.

Sophia is a biology and sociology major who loves to read. She also enjoys hiking, playing sports, and going to the gym.
