During the 2016 commencement weekend, May 6-8, the University welcomed the Class of 1966 back to campus as the newest members of Gonzaga University’s Alumni Association Gold Club, which honors alumni celebrating 50 years since their own graduation from GU.
More than 90 classmates were expected to come together for a reception, Mass, lunch and dinner events, dancing, socializing and a walking tour to see how much GU has changed (or remained the same) over the past 50 years. The Class of 1966 also processed in with the Class of 2016 during graduation, welcoming this new class of Zag alumni. After the ceremony, the Class of 1966 hosted a special Mother’s Day brunch.
