Every business major falls into one of the categories below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Business students with a single concentration<\/strong> take a Broadening course and either an International or Experiential course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Business students with two or more concentrations<\/strong> take either an International or Experiential course with these exceptions:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Students with an International Business concentration<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"> <\/mark><\/strong>take either a Broadening, Experiential or 200-level or higher language course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Students with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Innovation<\/strong> take a Broadening or an International course.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Economics majors <\/strong>are not required to take a Broadening, International, or Experiential course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accounting majors who do not have a business concentration<\/strong> are not required to take a Broadening, International, or Experiential course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accounting majors who have a business concentration such as finance <\/strong>take either an International or Experiential course.<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><\/mark><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>A course taken to fulfill a concentration requirement may not be double-counted to satisfy a requirement in the Broadening, International, or Experiential area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BROADENING<\/strong><br>A broadening course is any 300 or 400-level business course not required by the student&#8217;s concentration and offered outside the concentration area. For example, MKTG 315 would be a broadening course for a finance concentration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>INTERNATIONAL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>International course. These classes are designated in Zagweb with the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/canvas.gonzaga.edu\/courses\/12970\/pages\/how-do-i-find-attributes-for-classes-like-global-studies-or-experiential\">BU-International<\/a>\u201d attribute. Commonly offered classes include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>BFIN 327 International Finance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ECON 311 Global Economic Issues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MGMT 355 International Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MKTG 417 International Marketing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OPER 348 Qlty Mgmt &amp; Intrnl Standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OPER 440 Global Operations and Supply Chain Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check Zagweb for the most up-to-date list for each semester. The list above is only the most commonly offered classes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EXPERIENTIAL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These classes are designated in Zagweb with the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/canvas.gonzaga.edu\/courses\/12970\/pages\/how-do-i-find-attributes-for-classes-like-global-studies-or-experiential\">BU-Experiential<\/a>\u201d attribute.
