Tips from the Registrar are available <a href=\"https:\/\/my.gonzaga.edu\/academics\/registration-enrollment\/registrar-office\/course-registration\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frequently asked questions about registering for Fall 2021 courses include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I want to get \u201csigned in\u201d to a closed section of a course. What should I do?<\/strong><br>Answer: Download a Course Authorization form from <a href=\"https:\/\/my.gonzaga.edu\/academics\/registration-enrollment\/registrar-office\/resources\/forms\">this page<\/a> and follow the instructions on the page for having it approved. (Hint: You can do this before your register and be pre-approved for when you do register.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I declare my major\/concentration or change my major\/concentration?<\/strong><br>Answer: Download a Declaration of Major from <a href=\"https:\/\/my.gonzaga.edu\/academics\/registration-enrollment\/registrar-office\/resources\/forms\">this page<\/a> and follow the instructions on the page for having it approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I need a course that meets the experiential requirement for my business concentration. Which Fall 2021 classes will fulfill that requirement?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>ACCT 471 Forensic Accounting Lab<\/li><li>BUSN 470 Multidisciplinary Act Projects<\/li><li>BUSN 491 Startup Accelerator<\/li><li>BUSN 494 Small Business Consulting<\/li><li>Internships (See <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.gonzaga.edu\/takingcareofbusiness\/2020\/03\/15\/registering-for-an-internship\/\">requirements<\/a>.)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>More courses may be added to this list, please check back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I need a course with the core designation Global Studies, Writing Enriched, and\/or Social Justice. How do I find out which courses have those attributes?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Answer: Instructions on finding attributes are available <a href=\"https:\/\/my.gonzaga.edu\/-\/media\/Website\/Documents\/Academics\/University-Core\/advanced-search-by-attribute-type.ashx\">here<\/a>. In the SBA, the following Fall courses will have those attributes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Global Studies: MKTG 417 International Marketing; BFIN 327 International Finance; OPER 440 Global Supply Chain Management<\/li><li>Writing Enriched: MGMT 350 Principles of Management, MGMT 400 Recruitment and Selection, and MKTG 315 Consumer Behavior<\/li><li>Social Justice: BUSN 480 Senior Seminar Business Ethics<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I know which classes I need to take?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Answer: Run a degree evaluation. Instructions for how to do so are available <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.gonzaga.edu\/takingcareofbusiness\/2015\/08\/14\/degree-evaluation\/\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I change advisors?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Answer: Download a Change of Advisor from <a href=\"https:\/\/my.gonzaga.edu\/academics\/registration-enrollment\/registrar-office\/resources\/forms\">this page<\/a> and follow the instructions on the page for having it approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Can I count my internship for academic credit?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Answer: Juniors and Seniors can get up to three credits for internships but must meet the criteria. More information on how to register for an internship is available <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.gonzaga.edu\/takingcareofbusiness\/2020\/03\/15\/registering-for-an-internship\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I am a senior and plan to take business ethics. I thought I had to take BUSN 480 and BUSN 485, but I only see BUSN 480.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Answer: BUSN 480 (2 credits) and BUSN 485 (1 credit) have been combined into BUSN 480 (3 credits).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Can I take any section of BUSN 480 that I want or are sections restricted by concentrations?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Answer: BUSN 480 sections are no longer restricted by concentration. All sections are available to all concentrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I think I want to do an individualized concentration. How does that work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students may design an interdisciplinary concentration of courses related to their individual goals and interests. Use this <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.gonzaga.edu\/takingcareofbusiness\/2019\/10\/20\/individualized-concentration\/\">link to learn more<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When is my registration window?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Answer: You can find this information under the Registration tab on ZAGWEB:<br>1. Log into ZAGWEB<br>2. Select \u201cStudent\u201d<br>3. Select \u201cStudent Profile\u201d<br>4. Ensure the term you are registering for is selected in the upper left corner<br>5. Select \u201cRegistration Notices\u201d in the upper right corner<br>6. You will see your time ticket indicated at the bottom of the \u201cRegistration Notices\u201d section<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I plan to take classes at another university this summer.
