Incidents of Interest to the GU Community – July 9-16

A GU Student reported from a blue light phone on the south side of Martin Centre that she was being harassed by a group of non-students while walking on the Centennial Trail. GU Security and the Spokane Police Department responded and the subjects were trespassed from the Gonzaga campus.
July 14
A visitor to Foley Library reported that at about 6:30 PM on July 14, she observed a white male, about 25-30 years old, wearing a baseball cap, t-shirt, and shorts sitting in an aisle between two rows of books. According to the visitor, the man appeared to be attempting to manually stimulate himself under his t-shirt. The visitor left the library, and later contacted GU Security. The visitor was encouraged to file a report with the Spokane Police Department.

A GU Student reported the theft of parts from her bike while it was secured near Corkery Building B sometime between 2:00 AM and 10:45 AM on July 14.

A GU Student reported that she found her vehicle unlocked and the driver’s side door slightly open while it was parked in the 500 block of East Mission between 11:00PMĀ on July 11 and 10:00 AM on July 12. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
