A Corkery resident reported the theft of quick-release wheels and seat from bike that was secured with U-lock outside the residence.

9:10 PM

A smoke detector was activated by burning food; SFD responded and reset alarm.

Saturday, October 18, 2008

2:00 AM

4 GU students were robbed of cash and a pocketknife by one white or Hispanic male and two black males wearing hoodies and carrying small bats. The students were not injured. SPD extra-duty and GU Security officers responded, but the subjects were not found.

1:55 AM

2 GU Students and a non-student were approached by 2 white males who asked them to empty their pockets. One of the subjects displayed a short bat. The 2 non-students ran to their nearby residence and called 911. Cash was taken from the non-student. Nobody was injured.

A GU student reported that somebody entered his unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of east Nora. An Ipod was among the items taken.
