Student reports early morning assault north of campus
A student reported that at about 3:00 AM Sunday morning he was walking alone near Cincinnati and Augusta when two white males came up to him and hit him “1-2 times” and then left walking south. The student said the two males did not say anything to him or to each other. The student reported he suffered a black eye, a “little bump” on his forehead, and a sore cheek, but did not require medical attention. The student reported “he didn’t think much of it” but his roommates encouraged him to report it, so he reported it to Spokane Police and Campus Security today. The student stated the white males were in their 30s, with “long shaggy hair”, wearing long-sleeved shirts and pants, and “seemed intoxicated”.
