This morning at about 2:00 am four Gonzaga students were walking in the area of Nora and Cincinnati when they were approached by three males carrying nightstick-type clubs. The suspects took wallets and other valuables and then fled the area. GU Security and two GU-contracted Spokane Police patrol units arrived within one minute of receiving the call, but were unable to locate the suspects. The students were not injured. The wallets, minus the cash, were found nearby. One suspect was described as male, white or Hispanic. The other two suspects were described as male, African-American, all were wearing hoodies.

On Saturday, 2 GU students were contacted by 3 juvenile males near Cushing Hall who confronted them and “asked to see their wallets”. The students were able to remove themselves from the situation without physical harm or loss of property, and contacted GU Security who located the 3 subjects on campus. The students declined to press charges, but the juveniles were identified by the Spokane Police Department and trespassed from our property.
