“On May 14, the group assembled in Brussels, the capital of the European Union and international business center.  It was exciting to begin our tour precisely at a time when this center of international finance and politics is a focus of world events. ”

“We arrived in Florence, Italy for week two.  Often referred to as “the Capital of the Arts”, Florence is a cultural mecca with a rich history, and many successful companies to study!  Our private tours ranged from a sole-proprietor artisan who creates products for some of the finest specialty stores in the U.S., to mid-range companies, and international conglomerates serving countries around the world, and provided definite contrasts of infrastructures and production.” – Professor Connie Lipsker

Along the way, these students got the opportunity of touring businesses and political entities such as Brussel’s oldest brewery, the restaurant Lasagna and Tiramisu, the European Parliament and the Eurpean Commission, The House of European History, the Zabar Chocolate Factory, Coca Cola Belgium, Pagani, Vespa, GKN Driveline, Principe Corsini, and many more!
