This year, 2020, the school counseling program, the counselor education department and the Gonzaga School of Education honored Arianne De Los Reyes with the Wardian Leadership award.  Arianne, first and foremost, is simply a wonderful person.  Arianne’s fellow classmates were all thrilled when it was announced that the award was to be bestowed on her, because every classmate from the school counseling cohort recognized that Arianne is a compassionate and kind student leader.  Arianne also has a heart for leadership in the community.  The counselor education faculty were also similarly pleased with the recognition of Arianne with the Wardian Leadership Award.  Arianne is an excellent student with a promising future ahead of her as a professional school counselor All of us are certain that Arianne will represent school counselors with grace optimism and kindness in our schools and community.
