Assault reported north of campus
UPDATE at 10:55 PM: Spokane Police reported that the investigation indicates this was NOT an assault.
A Gonzaga student contacted Security from a blue light phone near Corkery at 9:47 PM tonight and reported that he had been stabbed in the arm and was bleeding. Security responded and provided first aid until Fire/EMS arrived. The student reported that a male subject had stabbed him two blocks north of campus near Standard and Augusta. The student could not provide Security any other details regarding the subject or the incident. The student was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Spokane Police are investigating.
