Incidents of Interest to the Gonzaga Community

November 11

Campus security contacted an individual acting suspiciously near a Coughlin Hall bike rack. After determining that he was carrying bolt cutters, Spokane Police were contacted and the subject was identified and trespassed from campus.

A student reported his Specialized Rockhopper bike was missing from a railing at Tilford. It had been secured using a cable lock.

November 9

A student reported that someone had entered his off-campus residence in the 1600 block of North Standard sometime during the evening and took three backpacks from near the front door containing climbing gear (shoes, harness, pants, chalk bags) and snow gloves. There was no indication of forced entry.

A student reported that his silver Honda Accord, was missing from the Legacy Hall parking lot.

November 8

A student reported his black Trek mountain bicycle missing from the bike rack in front of Jepson. The bike had been secured with a cable lock.

November 7

A student reported her laptop was taken from a cubicle at Foley Library when she left it unattended.  

November 6

A student reported his bike missing from the Paccar bike rack. It had been secured with a cable lock.

November 4

Campus security officers disarmed and detained a subject who waving a hunting knife in a threatening manner near Cataldo. Spokane Police responded and transported him to jail.

October 31

A student reported her purple Schwinn bike missing from the bike rack at Jepson. It had been secured with a cable lock.  

October 30

A student reported his green Raleigh M-60 mountain bike taken from the porch of his off-campus house in the 700 block of East Nora. It was not locked.

October 25

A student reported her purple Murray mountain bike missing from a railing outside of the dance studio. It had been secured with a cable lock.
