As part of a GU panel (John Caputo, Heather Crandall, and Claudia Bucciferro) exploring political murals and graffiti through an ethical remembering lens, Dung Tran’s paper, “Virgencita Linda: Celestial Mother and Mural of Hope,” will be presented at the Western States Communication Association ‘s annual convention in Anaheim, CA from February 14 – 18, 2014.
Also, Dung’s conference paper proposal about Walter J. Ong, S.J., “Faith and Contemporary Contexts in American Catholic Higher Education,” has been accepted and he will present at the February 2014 conference on GU’s campus.
