Spring 2014 Registration will soon be here–beginning Nov. 5. You will receive more information about new DPLS electives in a later email. This email is about Study Abroad courses that will be offered in May/June 2014. Syllabi and more information will be posted by Nov. 5, but this is some preliminary information so you can begin thinking about the possibilities:
Graduate Student Leadership in Italy Program Announced for Summer 2014: For the tenth year, the Departments of Communication & Leadership Studies, Organizational Leadership, and Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies are pleased to announce their Leadership classes offered in Italy. The two courses are: COML513 (3 credits) – Renaissance Rhetoric and Contemporary Leadership — Taught by Dr. John Caputo; and ORGL510 / DPLS 775 (3credits) – Renaissance Leadership for the 21st Century — Taught by Dr. JoAnn Barbour. These are hybrid courses with online components before and after the residency time in Italy. This Italian residency starts in Rome and continues in Florence at the Gonzaga campus, and includes a day-trip to Siena and free weekend travel.
Dates: May 23 – June 6, 2014
