Where to meet people?

As international students at Gonzaga, we all want to meet domestic students and get involved with the greater Gonzaga community. But how can we do that? Well, here are a few ideas:

What’s “Community”?

Community is a website that all student clubs and many departments use to stay connected. It is used to communicate between members, to advertise upcoming events and much more. As a Gonzaga student, you can access this anytime. To do so, log in using your Gonzaga username and password. It will look like this:

Once you see this, look for the “Clubs & organizations” tab, and the choose “Find a Group to Join” right below. It will look like this:

…And once you’ve joined a group, I think you will figure out the rest by yourself! Have fun!

What’s Intramurals?

The Intramural Sports Program is one of the most popular attractions on campus with over 2,850 students participating in sports tournaments annually equaling over 63% of the student population. You can play all kinds of sports like soccer, basketball, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, and much more! Some teams are all male, all female and co-ed (both male and female) and you can choose from different levels, so you can choose how competitive your team will be.

You have to use a website called “IM Leauges”, which you can find at this website. If you need help with this website, you can find more information here.

If you have more questions, the Intramurals staff are really helpful and they would be happy to help you as well: Contact the Intramural Office at 313-4251, Shelly Radtke, Associate Director of the Rudolf Fitness Center, at 509-313-3977 or radtke@athletics.gonzaga.edu or Andy Main, Assistant Director, at 509-313-4252 or main@athletics.gonzaga.edu.
