Inland Northwest Pragmatist Network Conference Saturday

The first meeting of the Inland Northwest Pragmatist Network meets tomorrow, Saturday, January 26, from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at Gonzaga in College Hall, Room 101. This is free, open to the public, and no registration is required. The agenda is below:

10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.: “Pragmatism & Obama” – a Discussion led by Jon Isacoff (Political Science, Gonzaga)

LUNCH

1:45-3:15 p.m.: “What Does Naturalism Mean By ‘Practical’?” – Kevin Decker (Philosophy, Eastern Washington)

3:15-3:30 p.m.: BREAK

3:30-5 p.m.: KEY TEXT DISCUSSION of John Dewey’s new book: Unmodern Philosophy and Modern Philosophy
