Gonzaga was ranked third in the WCC for alumni participation in giving in 2012-2013, coming in behind Santa Clara and Loyola Marymount. This year, we want to move up into the #1 spot and show the rest of the WCC that proud Zags give back to help other Zags!
Based on current participation and what last year’s numbers were for Santa Clara and Loyola Marymount, we would only need 2,500 alums to make a gift in any amount before the end of May, 2014 to put Gonzaga in the #1 spot. These 2500 alums will make up The 2500 Club. It is the perfect opportunity for you to show your pride and to share the Gonzaga experience with future Zags.
To put that goal into perspective:
- If a graduating class at Gonzaga averages 1,000 alumni, then we just need 2½ classes to give.
- If you filled all of the seats in the McCarthey Athletic Center with alumni, only 42% of them would need to give.
- If just 50 people from every class since 1963 gave, we could reach our goal.
If you’re proud to be a Zag, make your gift today and spread the word. Visit gonzaga.edu/ProudZags and join the club to help us reach our goal to put Gonzaga on top in the WCC!
