Showing #ZagDonorLove for Those Who Make Tomorrow Possible

On Tuesday, April 9, 2014, the Gonzaga community will come together at the annual Tomorrow Made Possible event to celebrate and show gratitude to the 14,352 donors who made gifts to the University last year. This annual event is intended to acknowledge the generosity of our benefactors and educate students about the importance of giving.

Throughout the day, students are encouraged to post photos via Instagram of the things on campus for which they’re thankful and tag them with #ZagDonorLove as a way of showing appreciation to the donors who provided for them. These photos will become part of a contest and will be displayed both online and at Crosby.

Activities and games will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Crosby and free slices of David’s Pizza will be handed out from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Students can leave a message of gratitude on “The Wall” and also follow in the footsteps of last year’s 14,352 donors by making their own contribution to the Fund for Gonzaga.  After all, it is our mission to cultivate men and women to serve others and to foster the next generation of philanthropists.

Donor gifts make up at least 25 percent of Gonzaga’s operating revenue, allowing the University the necessary funding to impact lives locally and globally, providing scholarships, classroom supplies, opportunities to study abroad and much more.

If you gave last year or this year, thank you! The Gonzaga experience wouldn’t be possible without Zags like you. Alumni, friends, parents, faculty and staff, and more have given and every gift makes a difference.
