In honor of CCASL’s 20th Anniversary, we are launching our first ever CCASL alumni newsletter. All of you have made an incredible contribution to CCASL over the years and we want to keep you up to date with stories, photos and videos about all of our work here on campus and around the world.
Over the past 20 years, CCASL has grown from a one-staff department with a handful of students to a pillar of Gonzaga’s culture, with over 3,000 students contributing over 75,000 hours of service each year. Recently, the university was honored with the Carnegie Foundation’s Community Engagement Designation, a distinction shared by less than 7% of four year institutions. Gonzaga has also produced the most Peace Corps Volunteers for schools its size for three years in a row.
There is so much to be thankful for over the past 20 years. You can celebrate with us by:
– Liking us on Facebook or following us on Twitter to keep up to date with CCASL programs.
– Sharing your story of your time at CCASL or your service and social justice work after graduation. E-mail it to us at serve@gonzaga.edu. You might be featured on this site.
– Mentoring a current student. If you completed a year or two of post-graduate service and/or work for a non-profit or social-justice related organization, e-mail us at serve@gonzaga.edu to become a mentor for a current CCASL student.
