About CCASL

The Center for Community Action and Service Learning provides transformational service experiences for Gonzaga students while addressing critical social needs through dynamic partnerships with a wide array of community partners. Whether mentoring at-risk youth in 13 public schools, building homes with Habitat for Humanity or traveling across the country to serve, CCASL students engage with social justice issues and develop skills and experiences for their future careers.

Now in its 20th year, CCASL provides 17 distinct programs, with over 100 student leaders and 3,000 student volunteers who serve over 75,000 hours every year. To celebrate 20 years of transforming students and the community, we will be using this site to highlight exemplary stories of student, faculty, and community partners who make CCASL great.
