Building Community

Living on campus means more than just having a bed to sleep in. Gonzaga’s residence hall system is designed to help students feel comfortable, to facilitate social time, and to enable students to have fun.

A quick survey of all 25 on-campus housing facilities turned up an interesting list of amenities, including 17 pianos, 26 billiard tables, 30 public televisions, 81 furnished lounges, 7 group seminar & study areas, some 50 recreational pieces of equipment such as foosball, ping pong, and air hockey, not to mention 48 laundry centers and a fleet of 85 vacuums! But who’s counting?

Students moving into the residence halls and student apartments this weekend will have much to work with in building community among their peers.
