Zag, Danny Evans is “it!”

“Gonzaga has been great for me!” says Danny Evans (’03). Coming from Arizona, Gonzaga was the first private-school education in Danny’s academic career, where he studied Criminal Justice. “It completely impacted me in many great ways – academically, socially and religiously,” Danny explains. “Gonzaga gives you the blueprint to be great in all aspects of life and I am truly appreciative of the opportunity to be a part of the Gonzaga family.”

Danny is now in his ninth year as the Associate Head Baseball Coach at Gonzaga, and is enjoying the team’s winning record this season. “The thing I love most about Gonzaga is definitely the community feel as you walk through campus and everyone knows everyone and they truly care for one another,” says Danny. “There is great pride for the traditions here at Gonzaga, which brings great excitement to campus throughout the year.”

“‘It,’ for me, is the opportunity to be a Zag and do whatever you can for the people around you to help lift them up every day. I give back because that’s what Zags do. Gonzaga gave me so many opportunities and I just want to be part of the growth of this wonderful University. Gonzaga is family to me and you take care of your family by any means possible. I am excited to give students every opportunity to be great, just as I was.”

That’s why Danny gives to Gonzaga, and now he tags you!
